In this post, I will give you some ideas on how to find your niche for content creation. You don’t necessarily need a niche, but it does help as a focus point to create your content around it.
Finding your niche does not have to be complicated, you can start by simply asking yourself some questions and hopefully the ideas flow from there.
Ask yourself the following:
-What are my hobbies? (i.e. knitting)
-What is my expertise? (if you know how to knit, perhaps you can make a video on ‘how to start knitting for beginners’)
-What are some things I love to do? (i.e. going outdoors, traveling to new places, trying new restaurants/food)
You can start creating content around those ideas – depending on your interests.
It’s best to start with something you are familiar and comfortable with so it doesn’t feel forced.
There are also various types of content that you can create (videos, photos, blog posts, and more).
I decided to focus my niche in Beauty because I love makeup. Within the Beauty Niche I can base my content around makeup tutorials, product reviews, and more. Currently, I am focusing on my TikTok platform @iamspiritschild where you can check out some of the content I’ve created so far. I must add, I am a beginner myself, but I am sharing this to pass what I learn along the way and to create more content within my niche in the form of blog posts and pictures.
